A new year brings the chance for a fresh start, renewed hope, and the opportunity to chart a bright path forward. With this spirit, I’m announcing my candidacy for Mayor of Glens Falls.
Over the past seven years on the Common Council, I’ve listened, learned, and worked alongside you. My commitment has always been rooted in service and guided by core values: transparency, collaboration, courage, and thoughtful decision-making. Two candidates can love our City deeply yet have different visions for its future. I’d like to share mine—one that reflects open dialogue, strategic planning, and empowering our community to thrive together.
I believe government works best with the people, not just for them. Our City’s growth, vibrant events, and unique character are powered by business leaders, volunteers, investors, and advocates. Government should be a partner—supporting and empowering those who build, restore, and invest in Glens Falls.
1. Transparency and Collaboration: We need a government that listens to everyone—those who agree, those who don’t, and those with new perspectives. By welcoming diverse voices, we make better decisions for our community.
2. Thoughtful, Data-Driven Decisions: Clear plans should guide our spending and align with our goals. Equally important is measuring outcomes to ensure our choices achieve the intended effect. Learning from results allows us to adapt and stay true to our strategic vision.
3. Focusing on Core Responsibilities: City government should prioritize delivering excellent municipal services. We shouldn’t overextend into areas better suited for the private sector. Instead, we should remove unnecessary barriers, streamline processes, and support those driving our community forward.
What gives me hope is you—the volunteers, business owners, and families who invest in our City and show up for one another. This spirit makes Glens Falls more than just a place; it makes it a community.
Together, we can create a future that reflects the best of who we are. I’m ready to lead with transparency, thoughtful planning, and a commitment to serving alongside you. With strategic leadership that prioritizes long-term growth and fiscal responsibility, we can ensure our City thrives for generations to come.
